Accessory Wednesday – Bethany Lorelle

I recently fell in love with these hair pieces from Bethany Lorelle after seeing some of the pieces from the chic pink and gray inspiration shoot from Every Last Detail that she provided pieces for. They are super fun and elegant, and perfect for just about ANY occasion. Seriously, pop one of these on and you have transformed whatever you were wearing into a completely new outfit.
I love them as gifts for birthdays, bridesmaids, and of course for yourself. If you give one as a gift you totally know that they will wear it again. Details on my favorites below for many different kinds of looks:
1. Isadora
2. Lola
3. Andi
4. Part of the Fall/Winter line out next week, but for now check out this !
5. Black & White flower with velvet headband
6. Drew
7. Esme
8. Nicki
This is not a sponsored post, I just happen to heart these accessories!
I feel like wearing the Odessa today, which one are you?

You are cordially invited…

Twitter has brought a lot of us together in many different ways. I haven’t exactly met all of these wonderful ladies in person (yet!), but I feel like we have been friends for ages. And I love that. :) We have fun together with Tuesday Shoesday, and we all support each other each and every day. Such a fabulous network of women! And since we couldn’t all be there for one of our solemate’s wedding days, we wanted to do something special for our friend to enjoy, from all of her ‘solemates.’

The square above is my part of this virtual shower gift for Abby! And I’m just so excited that Abby got the quilt today because she is getting married THIS weekend! SO EXCITED FOR HER!!! Abby is an amazing friend with a huge heart and great style. She is the voice behind the awesome Life in the Super Burbs blog and also a writer on SMP occasionally. So quite a few of us banded together to give her a fun wedding gift for her and her new hubby to enjoy as they start their journey together. Each one of us wrote a quote to Abby and her hubby-to-be, and Andrea Bell, quilted us this lovely quilt using all of our quotes to give to Abby for the home that they are building together.
Check out a picture of the full quilt on Abby’s blog, and leave her your own well wishes as she gets ready for her wedding day! And be sure to visit the rest of the twitter hostesses of this virtual shower by clicking on their first name to see their quilt squares as well!

Succulent Bouquet Inspiration

I love bouquets that incorporate different textures, and adding succulents to your bouquet is an incredibly easy way to add some of that. It also incorporates something more substantial in size, which means you can use less of another flower because it fills up more space. My favorite in this bunch? The beautiful one in the middle with the spiky bright pink flowers. Perfect contrast, and just a stunning bouquet!
