  After a year of Tuesday Shoesdays, it’s safe to say that I love shoes.  And I LOVE my brides that love shoes as much as I do.  And this wedding took the cake!  Lauren hand detailed every.single.crystal on these shoes.   I’m slightly in love with these shoes, both for personal and for wedding inspiration purposes.  Shoes with crossover straps such as this are definitely my style.  They just work with my body, and I love pretty much any pair I try on.

  I love these two though because one is PERFECT for entering fall as it is suede.  And the second is perfect for a fall colored bridesmaid dress, as they are made out of Satin.  Both are ON SALE right now from J.Crew, so I suggest you go check them out!

  Don’t worry hubby, you won’t find both of these in my closet…
  oh wait, did I mention they have different colors?  Scratch that!  ;)

  Blog, I’d like you to meet Kate.  Kate and I have known each other since the day we moved into our freshman dorms at the University of Miami.  We were on the same floor, went through sorority recruitment together, and became fast friends during the four years we were there.  Kate loves everything preppy, as do I, and we refer to each other still as “ribbon twins” because of our monogrammed necklaces that we wore with ribbon at one point during those four years.

  I was lucky enough to meet Kate’s now hubby Terry when they both flew in for my wedding to my husband Mike almost two years ago.  He is an awesome match for Kate, and they seriously are the cutest together.  When I couldn’t make their wedding last summer, Kate knew she wanted to share her Shoesday pictures with me because she knew I would love them as much as she did.  So on this fine Tuesday Shoesday, I introduce to you Kate and her now husband Terry and their fabulous “Shooooesday” wear!  Love you Kate!

  

  And can we just pause and and all just say awww over her dress?  It’s stunning!  And Terry, you looked pretty dapper yourself!
  

  Close up of the pink shoes!  I love the slip knot peep toe on the front and of course you know I love the bright pink!  I love any bride that is willing to add that pop of color under their wedding dress for a little personalization!
