• Accessory Wednesday – Bethany Lorelle

  I recently fell in love with these hair pieces from Bethany Lorelle after seeing some of the pieces from the chic pink and gray inspiration shoot from Every Last Detail that she provided pieces for.  They are super fun and elegant, and perfect for just about ANY occasion.  Seriously, pop one of these on and you have transformed whatever you were wearing into a completely new outfit.

• Friday Tip – Your Dress Photograph

  One of the very first photographs that a photographer will take is one of your wedding dress, usually hanging up in the very spot where you are going to be getting dressed.  It’s magical to see the dress all spread out, and it’s great to capture that on camera.  My tip for the day is to get a fun hanger to hang it on.  Let’s be honest, the dress shop will send your pressed gown home with you on a normal, everyday hanger.  Your dress is not everyday, so it deserves a little attention the day of your wedding, and why not use a fun hanger with your name on it !

  Having your photographer catch photos like this is priceless.  You want to enjoy your wedding day, and the rest of your lives together.  Marriage is about having fun, growing together, and learning how to be a couple together.  You can just tell from one photo how much this couple loves each other.  Seriously made me smile on this Friday morning.

• Stunning Friday

  Loved this wedding from local photographer Megan Thiele Studios.  The back of this dress is stunning, I absolutely love the draping and the flower accent on it.  The dress is part of the Vinyard Collection, from Priscilla of Boston.  And Megan truly captured this day, as you can see the love in this wedding from the beginning of the day to the end.  Megan has been photographing weddings in St. Louis for three years, and she captures timeless images that are beautiful for each of her couple’s.  I love her style, and I think you will too.

  And this beauty of a cake is by another local vendor, who is very well known in this area for their cakes.  The Cakery makes wedding cakes, but also goodies like cupcakes, cookies and more.  And this cake is beautiful with it’s draping and flowers.  A classic cake, and a picture that I would totally frame myself if this was my cake.    The whole wedding had this romantic feel, definitely one to remember!
